Thumbs Up

15 month doctor visit this morning.  Given how traumatic our last visit was for me, I admit I was a little nervous this morning!  But I was prepared to tell him how much milk from a cup she is drinking (she can handle a straw like a big kid!), how she's doing so well with food and words, and now she's walking everywhere and climbing on everything (including mommie!).

He was pleased that she was doing so well.  He's letting me spread out the last few vaccines we need to get. (yay!)  He recommended Hep A vaccine because in the next year or two, our State will be requiring it before preschool (but she might go to preschool across the river, so I'll have to find out about that.)  He didn't seem concerned about the strawberry allergy, and he traded blowing kisses with her at the end.

She's still little.  We can't quite break that 20-pound barrier yet, so she's in the 10th percentile for her weight (I guess that's better than being overweight like her momma).  But overall it was a good checkup.
