A Girl And Her Dog - A Story In Five Acts

Can you tell this dog loves to play frisbee?

We need to work on her throw a little bit.

Oh, wait, that's the cat.  Hang on.

There we go.  That was a kiss, Mommie was just a little late on the camera trigger.

My son's first "sentence" was spoken to the dogs. I believe our pets have immense importance in our children's lives. Great photos!

How SWEET!
My niece (since at the beginning when she was saying everyone's name would for whatever reason refuse to say mine-talk about breaking my heart!-she would just point to me instead of saying my name) would always say she was coming to "unky's house" (Pumpkin's house--we call her Punky sometimes) when they came over. Now she gets excited because she's coming to my house and says her very own version of my name (it's hard to say, I know, and I love it ;) )

Did you get a new dog and cat or are these your parents'? Whoever they belong to, they're gorgeous!

Ah, she remembers the post. They are my parents dog and cat. The dog frequently comes down to my house, usually when I haven't cleaned up after the toddler and need her to eat all the dropped food crumbs off the floor. She doesn't do bananas, but does pretty much everything else.

The cat cannot be bothered to acknowledge our existence, so I put his photo on here just to spite him.

The time for the wee one and I to get a new kitty is soon upon us, I feel. I keep thinking I don't want to take on something else, but I'm ready to have a creature in my house again.
